Yes, I'm here....

BUT I'm off to a really slow start.

I'm, honestly, trying to let the whole "we're not in HELL, SC anymore" sink in...I really, really, really love it here! I just wish there was MLB..I could be tempted to nix the Indians.

NAH, I'm just kidding...I'm in love with this place but not crazy ;)

I was driving Ali home tonight from her 1st Girl Scout meeting (and we made a pit stop at the Chik-Fil-A) when I realized that all the headlights, storefront lights, street lights, etc. were all glowing for ME. I couldn't do anything but smile and smile and smile. What's funny is, we're in the 'burbs here BUT I could see the Queen City glowing from the stop light and I knew, we weren't far from LIFE!

This blog has just gotten slower due to lack of bitching.........what a feat for me :)

This is a perfect example (along with many, many others) of why we should just keep our American production lines open. Make our own products. Stop OUTSOURCING and letting our American workers keep their jobs....GEEBUS!

Yea, that's right. I can't think of anything 'witty' for the post titles...it's almost like I'm taking mood altering drugs...which I'm not BUT when I do, it's just like this in my head:

hmm, wha'?...um, yeah...pretty bird...cool, whoosh....hmm, wha'?

There isn't a lot going on right now. Just tending to the school stuff that makes life a living hell for kids. Homework is at a premium here and MATH is the bitching subject. Although Jakob can use some handwriting skills PRONTO! but that's the way it is....

Me? I'm doing well. Better than ever, actually. It's kind of scarey (but in that non-scarey sort of way--that, "I'm feeling strangely fine. Isn't that weird." sort of way)

Kind of makes me wonder what's going to happen next? I know, I know, You're NEVER supposed to ask BUT if things go wrong constantly for you, like they do for me, then when it starts smoothing out and nothing is happening, well, you gotta kind of wonder about it....
